Kofi started Sarpong Capital after spending six years at The Royal Bank, five years at Deloitte and a year at Standard Chartered Bank. During his time at The Royal Bank, he led the operational setup of the treasury front office function including designing the workflow and control environment.
He has attended numerous FX, Money Market, Derivative and Fixed Income Trading training courses held by Citibank, Exam Ready, ACI Ghana and the National Banking College. Kofi is passionate about markets and is a guest lecturer on Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRAs) and Repo Markets at the National Banking College in Ghana.
At Deloitte, he advised on over USD 1 billion of Ghanaian debt and equity transactions focusing on strategy and execution of fundraisings and restructurings for Financial Institutions, Transport, Manufacturers, Healthcare Institutions and Public Sector focused entities.
Kofi has been involved in numerous valuation, M&A and Leveraged Finance transactions spanning the financial services, shipping, transportation and real estate industries. His time at Standard Chartered Bank was spent with the Structured Trade Finance team where he focused on originating and syndicating structured trade finance products.
He is an ACCA charter holder, holds a specialist MSc. in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School and holds a BSc. (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Hull. Kofi has overall responsibility for all business lines, governance and operations at Sarpong Capital.

Yaw joins Sarpong Capital after spending three years with Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst and after four years at Sahel Bank as a client relationship manager. Yaw holds a BSc in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Masters in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Westminster and is an ACCA Charter holder.
At Sarpong Capital Yaw is the Chief Operating Officer overseeing the smooth running of the business and its operations. Yaw oversees the Regulatory Compliance, Finance & Administration and Investment Banking operations of the firm.

Before joining Sarpong Capital, Jacinta was the Head of finance at TG Finance & Leasing, a non-bank financial institution in Accra.
She also spent eight years with the UT Bank as a Finance Manager and later a Finance Business Partner.
Jacinta is an experienced finance professional who has executed several transactions, including corporate restructuring, due diligence, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jacinta is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). She is an Accounting graduate from the University of Ghana.
At Sarpong Capital, Jacinta oversees the Firm’s Finance Division and regulatory reporting.
Chief Finance Officer
Biggles joins Sarpong Capital after spending time with Deloitte & Touche as an auditor, Access Bank as a Currency Trader, and recently with NorthStar Home Finance as Treasurer.
Biggles holds a BSc in Administration and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Ghana Business School and is an ACCA Charter holder. Biggles also holds an ACI Dealing certificate for financial markets dealing.
His role at Sarpong Capital currently includes responsibility for the firm’s Institutional Capital Markets business. He enjoys problem-solving and football and supports Liverpool FC.

Yomi, as she prefers to be called, has over the last decade built a stellar career in the Research, Credit Ratings and Consulting financial services segments. Prior to joining Sarpong Capital, roles she performed in include Financial Consultant to real sector corporates and Senior Research Analyst with Agusto & Co. a pan-African credit ratings agency.
Yomi is also a development enthusiast with deep experience spanning macroeconomic research & analysis, modelling & forecasting, policy solutions, training, risk assessment and credit risk ratings, across various sectors in Africa.
Yomi is a Mathematics with Economics graduate of the University of Exeter, UK. She also attended Warwick Business School, UK and Principia College, USA at various stages. Her interests include travelling, playing volleyball, tennis, and dancing.

Before joining Sarpong Capital, Ransford spent over seven (7) years in Treasury operations at Access Bank (Ghana) Plc.
He has over twelve (12) years of experience in the financial services industry and is a member of ACI-The Financial Markets Association holding an Operations Certificate (OC) designation and an ACI Diploma.
Ransford holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Central University. At Sarpong Capital, Ransford oversees the Firm’s Back Office & Settlements function.
Back Office & Settlements
Before joining Sarpong Capital, Lisa was an Investment Banking Associate at C-Nergy Ghana, an investment banking advisory firm based in Accra, Ghana.
She has also spent time with First Atlantic Bank and Consolidated Bank Ghana as a Relationship Manager.
Lisa is an experienced investment banking professional and has conducted several transactions requiring due diligence, financial modelling, and marketing materials preparation.
Lisa holds an MBA from Accra Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana. She attended St. Roses Secondary School and her interests include reading, playing table tennis, and volleyball.
Her role at Sarpong Capital currently includes managing the execution of the Firm’s investment banking transactions.

Yaw joins Sarpong Capital after spending six years with ABSA Bank’s Commercial Banking team as a relationship manager. Before ABSA, Yaw spent three years at United Bank for Africa (UBA Ghana) and three years at Access Bank Ghana in similar roles.
Yaw is an experienced relationship manager with deep origination skills. He holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering and an Executive MBA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
At Sarpong Capital, Yaw is responsible for client coverage and relationship management within the Firm’s Investment Banking Division.
Investment Banking
Ransford is an Investment Banking Analyst. He is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and developing and maintaining financial models which are used to support advice to clients.
Before joining the firm, Ransford was an Executive Assistant at MoringaConnect. He previously interned at FirstBanc Brokerage Services and with the Debt Management Division (DMD) of the Ministry of Finance.
Ransford holds a BSc. in Business Administration from Ashesi University. He also attended the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC). Ransford enjoys a good game of chess.

Before joining Sarpong Capital, Jeffrey or PK as he prefers to be called, was an Interbank Forex Trader with Obsidian Achernar, an FX brokerage firm based in Accra, Ghana.
He also spent time with GT Bank Ghana as an Interbank FX Dealer.
PK is a development enthusiast with deep experience spanning macroeconomic research & analysis, risk assessment & credit risk ratings across various sectors in Africa.
PK is an accounting graduate from Methodist University College and also holds an ACI Dealing Certificate. He attended St. John’s School in Sekondi, and his interests include travelling, playing volleyball, tennis, and dancing.

James is a Derivatives & Risk Management professional. He is responsible for pricing derivatives trades as a market-maker, making risk decisions and generating trading strategies based on analysis and research, interacting with clients, and sharing ideas and market views.
Before joining Sarpong Capital, James spent five years as a quantitative analyst at IHS Markit in London covering Credit Derivatives. He has also worked with Santander as a Quantitative analyst in charge of methodology risk, portfolio modelling & forecasting.
James has strong knowledge and experience in credit, credit derivatives, fixed income, derivatives markets, as well as complex structured products. He has experience and practical knowledge in software development using C, C++, SQL, and VBA for complex pricing and risk systems.
James holds a BSc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology and an MSc. in Financial Engineering from the University of Reading ICMA Center. His interests include football, reading, networking, and problem-solving.

Before joining Sarpong Capital, Paa Kwesi “P.K.” spent seven years in various roles at GFX Brokers, a securities brokerage firm based in Accra-Ghana.
He was most recently Head of Trading at GFX Brokers where he managed a team of traders and salespeople and had primary responsibility for meeting monthly and annual revenue targets.
Before GFX, P.K. spent two years as a Business Development Manager at Rosecraft Vending Solutions where he built a market for the SandenVendo line of vending machines in the West African sub-region.
P.K. is a Business Administration graduate of Ashesi University. He attended Lincoln Community School where he earned his International Baccalaureate. P.K.’s interests include technology, watching documentaries, reading, and is an avid tennis player.
At Sarpong Capital, P.K. has full responsibility for the Firm’s Eurobond trading desk.

Before joining Sarpong Capital, Dennis was a Client Relations Executive with Obsidian Achernar, an FX brokerage firm in Accra, Ghana.

Dennis is a networking enthusiast and a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Dennis is a Human Resource graduate from the Pentecost University College, as well as a project management enthusiast and his interests include music, video games, and building professional relationships.

Marian is an Institutional Capital Markets trader. She is responsible for Fixed Income trading, building, and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, and providing market colour to clients.
Before joining the firm, Marian worked as a petroleum products salesperson covering existing and building new client relationships for Dome Energy Resources Limited, a Bulk Oil Distribution Company in Ghana. Previously she also served as a National Service Personnel with the National Petroleum Authority and has interned with both Unibank Ghana and the Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
Marian holds a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management from Valley View University, and her interests include reading, music, and puzzle-solving.

Edmund is an Institutional Capital Markets Desk Analyst. He is responsible for the Fixed Income trading desk with market news flow, research comments, scheduling calls and company meetings, and participating in idea generation and planning.
Before joining Sarpong Capital, Edmund interned with Gaso Petroleum and the National Insurance Commission.
Edmund is an accounting graduate from the University of Ghana and an ACCA level 3 candidate. He attended Mfantsipim School, and his interests include basketball, reading, writing, and music.

Kofi is the sales trader on the EMEA credit desk, responsible for daily pricing, executing trades for institutional capital market clients, market insight and analysis.
Before joining Sarpong Capital, Kofi worked with GFX Prime, a broker dealer in Ghana as a sales trader. He also has a programming background having interned with IT consortium and done freelance work as a back-end and web application developer.
Kofi holds a BSc. In Management Information Systems from Ashesi University. He attended Achimota Senior High School and his interests include, basketball, volunteer work with children and sound engineering.

Lois is an Institutional Capital Markets Desk Analyst. She is responsible for providing the FX trading desk with market news flow, research comments, scheduling calls and company meetings, and participating in idea generation and planning.
Before joining Sarpong Capital, Lois was an Administrative Assistant at AI Energy Group. Before AI Energy Group, Lois interned at Ghana Airports Company and Nutrifoods Ghana.
She is an accounting graduate from the University of Ghana and an ICA level 3 candidate. Lois attended Aburi Girls’ Senior High School and enjoys volunteer work.

Prior to joining Sarpong Capital, Ernest was the Senior Officer, Financial Services, Clearing & Settlement at the Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX) where he worked for close to four years.
He was responsible for clearing and settlement of trades as well as engaging with bank and non-bank financial institutions, DFIs, and Impact Funds in order to develop alternative financing structures and methods for funding commodity trading members on the GCX.
He has over 12 years of experience working in various tiers of the financial services sector in Ghana.
Ernest is a Banking & Finance graduate from Central University and also attended Adisadel College in the Central Region. He likes reading and swimming.

Dennis is a Capital Markets Analyst with the Back Office and Settlements Divisions. he assists in the smooth running of the back office and settlements desks with his duties including calling counterparties to confirm trade obligations and settlements dates, setting up trades received from the front office after confirmation, confirming movement of funds and providing general support and assistance to the firms Back Office and Settlement Head.
Prior to joining Sarpong Capital, Dennis worked with National Identification Authority and Nejola Enterprise, for the former he served as a Supervising Registration Officer where he oversaw the smooth day-to-day performance at his duty station and organized his team’s workflow, for the latter he served as an operations assistance in fabric and clothing enterprise where he assisted in ensuring proper sorting and distribution of items and also worked in tracking trade receivables and sorting of ageing debts, He also interned with the erstwhile (UT Bank) now Ghana Commercial Bank and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Dennis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Rural Development from K.N.U.S.T and is an old boy of Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary (Pojoss)
He enjoys volunteering, watching and playing football as well as reading.

Victoria Amoako Techie is a versatile professional with experience as a Corporate, Administrative, and Security Services Analyst. In her previous role, she ensured the day-to-day delivery of appropriate client experience across the firm, analyzing and improving various processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Prior to joining her current organization, Victoria served as a Data Ambassador for Vodafone Ghana and a front desk executive at Debson Media. In these roles, she honed her skills in customer service, data management, and organizational tasks, which are valuable assets in her current position.
Victoria holds a BSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, which provides her with a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain processes. In addition, she has experience in software engineering, which can be applied to various tasks within the company.
Now serving as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, Victoria brings her diverse range of skills and experiences to support the CEO and ensure the smooth functioning of the company. Her attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills makes her a valuable asset to the team.

Peter is a Corporate, Administrative, and Security Services Analyst. He ensures the day-to-day delivery of appropriate transportation and logistics across the firm.
Peter has an interest in reading and problem-solving.

Francis is a Finance Division Analyst. He ensures day-to-day support of the Finance Division’s activities across the firm and reports directly to the Firm’s CFO.
He holds a BSc. in Biology Education and is a final-level professional accountancy candidate at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Francis has an interest in reading and problem-solving.
Finance Division
Maxwell worked with Fero Fabric at Tema as an electrical technician for three (3) years. He worked as an IT network supporting engineer at the Vodafone data centre, OSTECIT, for six (6) years. Maxwell is currently undertaking a Professional certification course in Cloud Architecture and CISCO IoT, CCNP. He has certifications from Google IT Support, Google Cloud Compute, and CISCO Cyber Security.
He holds a BSC in computer science from KNUST and HND in electrical engineering from Takoradi Polytechnic.
Maxwell likes to play and watch football.
Technology & Operations
Seyram is a Creative Consultant with the Research Division. He creates social media posts for the company’s social media pages and aids in anything that has to do with the visual identity of the company.
Prior to joining Sarpong Capital, Seyram worked with Nana Asihene, a music video director at NKACC, a creative consultancy at Ogbojo in 2020. He assisted on set as an assistant director or best boy on music videos and commercials. He also worked as a graphic designer on a number of projects.
Seyram holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design from KNUST and is an Akora from Achimota Senior High School. He has attained skills in graphic design, filmmaking, and photography.
He enjoys watching football and movies.
